A fatal shooting suspect has been charged in connection with the shooting of a woman who was discovered at 1162 Allen Genoa Road at around 5:05 p.m. on August 15, 2023. on August 14 (Monday).

The 337th State District Court has filed a murder charge against the fatal shooting suspect, Latrenton Dealverez Washington, 36. This news release includes a picture of Washington taken during her arrest.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has yet to inform the 35-year-old deceased woman’s family of her identity.
The HPD Homicide Division’s J. Gardner and L. Brooks stated:
The female was discovered unresponsive and slouched over in the passenger seat of a blue Toyota Corolla when HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call in the parking lot of the business at the above address. She was killed by the fatal shooting suspect, Latrenton Dealverez Washington, 36. When paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived on the scene, they declared the female dead.

Washington was identified as the fatal shooting suspect in this case based on evidence found at the scene and preliminary investigations, as well as the car he was driving when he fled the scene.
The vehicle was found by officers from the HPD South Central Patrol Division, who then stopped it in traffic. Without further incident, Washington was taken into custody.
After getting in touch with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the fatal shooting suspect, Washington, was charged for his involvement in the incident.
