A Maui brush fire burned around 10 acres of land on Saturday.
Firefighters are said to have successfully controlled the said Maui brush fire.
However due to the Maui brush fire proximity to the previously affected area of the fires in Maui residents in the nearby neighborhood where the Maui brush fire occurred were evacuated as a precaution.
It was reported that the Maui brush fire last Saturday was only a few miles from area of the recent wildfires in Laihana.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the Maui brush fire by utilizing helicopters to drop water from above and hoses on the ground, according to John Heggie, a representative from Maui County’s Joint Information Center.

Due to the Maui brush fire an evacuation order was issued for a few houses located in the hills above Kaanapali resort hotels.
The exact number of people affected by the Maui brush fire evacuation order is not currently known.
According to an online post by Maui County, the recent Maui brush fire is no longer a dangerous situation. However, firefighters are still present in the area of the Maui brush fire to ensure further safety, ABC News reports.
The Maui County Emergency Management Agency confirmed on social media that the Maui brush fire evacuation order has concluded by 5 p.m., allowing residents to go back to their homes, ABC News added.
