Two young boys killed in Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Authorities announced on Thursday that two men have been arrested and charged with killing two young boys and a teenager in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday night.
Victims of the Shooting Incident
8-year-old Jesus and 9-year-old Sebastian Perez-Salome were outside playing with kittens when the shooting occurred, Pier Hess Graf, the Lebanon County Pennsylvania District Attorney said at a news conference, according to the New York Times.
Joshua Lugo-Perez, who was fatally shot, according to Lebanon Police Chief Bret Fisher, the authorities believed that the victim had been targeted because of “a past argument.” He said that the two young boys were not involved.
In a phone interview Thursday from his home in Puerto Rico, the children’s uncle Felix Muniz Torres, said that their mother was working at a nearby convenience store when the shooting happened. She ran over to their home, only to find her children shot. Her other 13-year-old child was fortunately at a school event.

Police Authorities Arrested the Suspect
Chief Bret Fisher of the Lebanon Police Department and Mayor Sherry Capello at a news conference at City Hall in Lebanon, Pa., on Wednesday.
Police arrested 22-year-old Alex Torres Santos at his apartment on Wednesday. Authorities said he attempted to flee the residence but was captured there, while 16-year-old James Fernandez-Reyes was later arrested when he was trying to hide at a nearby apartment. The two suspects were charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit homicide, one count of aggravated assault, and other firearm offenses. District Attorney Graf said investigators are still looking for a third suspect.
The district attorney, Pier Hess Graf, said Thursday that the suspects could potentially face the death penalty, but the decision has not yet been made, according to AP News.
