The Recent Arrest Of San Jose Police

San Jose Police in California have arrested two suspects, Mogos Constantin, 35, and Renaldo Vaduva, 19. According to San Jose police, they are linked to a Romanian organized crime group targeting elderly Asians.

San Jose police’s arrested suspects are also connected to 25 separate crimes, including armed robbery, armed carjacking, etc. The months of July and October were the time when such crimes were reported.

During the arrests, San Jose police confiscated $13,000 in cash, three vehicles, and evidence linking the suspects to jewelry scams, Facebook Marketplace scams, credit card skimmers, and money laundering. The suspects arrested by San Jose police would often approach victims under the guise of seeking directions and would discreetly steal their jewelry while engaging them in conversation.

According to the San Jose police, they would also pose as general contractors to gain access to their victims’ homes. The crimes committed by this group are increasing.

According to a published article by Next Shark, the San Jose Police Department who arrested the two suspects urges anyone with more information about the crime group to contact their Robbery Unit.

Romanian Organized Crime

In a published article by CBS News, San Jose police have witnessed a significant rise in Romanian organized crime. The criminals use tactics like asking for directions or posing as contractors to gain access to victims’ homes and commit crimes.
