A Grub Hub delivery driver on an electric bike slammed into a mom pushing her two-year-old in a stroller in a Manhattan intersection and then sped away.

June 17, 2023, at exactly 8:30 am, a 42-year-old woman who was carrying her 2-year-old boy in a stroller in the intersection of Park Place and Broadway across City Hall Park was hit and run by a Grub Hub Delivery rider.
The delivery rider was riding an e-bike heading on South Broadway. According to the report, the impact was hard that it hit and knock down the stroller, and the baby inside threw away in the ground. Investigators say that the delivery rider picked himself up, got his bike, and drove away from the scene where the incident happened without checking if the mom and her son.
The delivery rider immediately fled and was nowhere to be found. The mother and the son were immediately brought by the EMS to the nearest NYC Hospital and both are in stable condition.

According to the report, the delivery rider was an e-bike food delivery boy. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and a delivery bag caught in a CCTV camera footage.
