A truck driver was arrested due to a car crash accident that killed 5 people in Arizona.
On the 12th day of January at around 6:15 am, on Eastbound Interstate 10 near the Chandler Boulevard offramp, an unfortunate car crash accident happened. A commercial truck driven by Danny Tiner, 36 years old, was allegedly watching TikTok videos while maneuvering which resulted in a car crash accident.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the car crash accident occurred due to the reckless actions of Tiner deprived the lives of 5 people. The trailer which took part in the car crash accident was loaded with garbage and failed to decelerate in congested traffic.
The car crash accident involves two commercial trucks in which two other vehicles got stuck in between the trucks and caught fire wherein five (5) people died and the at-fault driver suffered minor wounds and injuries after the car crash accident.
Police Department identified the car crash accident victims as Gilberto Franko, Ryan Gooding, Andrew Standifird, Willis Thompson, and Jerardo Vazquez. According to the investigation, Tiner received a message and read it which resulted to his failure to stop and could not avoid the car crash accident.
According to the investigation done by the Arizona State Troopers, they believed that distraction from the gadgets has a great role in the car crash accident.
Also, in a report submitted by the Arizona Department of Public Safety about the car crash accident, Tiner was allegedly “active in using TikTok” while driving which resulted to the car crash accident.
Thus, on June 29, this car crash accident led to the capture of Danny Tiner with charges of 5 counts of manslaughter, 1 count of tampering physical evidences, and 4 counts of reckless driving.
