An Oklahoma district court judge tossed a lawsuit filed in 2020 seeking reparations for the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, which some hoped would provide justice to the remaining three survivors of the attack before they die.

Judge Dismissed The Reparation Of 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Lawsuit

An Oklahoma cancelled the lawsuit regarding to the reparations for victims and descendants of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre.

Throwing the efforts of social advocates to give justice to the families of the 921 Tulsa race massacre victims. This is one of the most sad cases that needs to be reopen in order for them to get the justice they deserve. Caroline Wall, Tulsa County District Court Judge cancelled the case in a written order reviewing again the 1921 Tulsa race massacre case. It receives several complaints coming from the city and the regional Chamber of Commerce and other local agencies.

The order of the reopening of the case came from the three survivors of 1921 Tulsa race massacre who are now already 100 years old and who file the case in 20202 and who is having hope of winning the case and giving justice to the other victims.

1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Lawsuit Seeking For Justice, Judged Cancelled

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum said in a statement that the city has to receive the full order of the case but the case filed was cancelled by the judge already. Lessie Benningfield Randle, Viola Fletcher and Hughes Van Ellis, the three survivors’ lawyers said that the 3 is planning whether to appeal but a group of the lawsuit said that it will just challenge Wall’s decision. The Chamber of Commerce said that it was a big tragedy and that 1921 Tulsa race massacre is one of the most horrible cases they have received.
