A 44-Year-Old Burton man who allegedly killed and dismembered his wife was shot and killed by state police.
According to the police, Burton man, Tony Roy was shot by the state police as he pointed a gun at a woman who was a passenger in a vehicle he was driving.
The Burton Man was marked dead at the spot.
Burton man Roy, was issued an arrest warrant after the police found garbage bags containing human remains in the bathroom of Burton man’s apartment.
Burton Police Chief Brian Ross said that they receive an anonymous tip pertaining to the dead body inside the apartment of the said Burton man. The dead body was identified as Shauna Roy, 41, wife of Burton man, Tony Roy.
Ross also shared in a report that the evidence led investigators to Tony Roy’s whereabouts in the Detroit area after Burton police spent the weekend arduously examined the evidence, attempting to locate the 44-years old Burton man.

The police located Roy and tried to pull him over in a traffic stop in where the Burton man pointed a gun to the woman who was in the vehicle with him, there the police shot him.
In a report of WNEM, it was said that the Michigan State Police Stated that Burton man, Tony Roy first pointed a gun at himself and then at the woman in the vehicle with him at which multiple police shot him
The woman in the vehicle suffered non-threatening injuries during the incident. Details about the woman’s relationship to the Burton man were yet to be revealed.
WNEM also reported that the officers involved in the said shooting are under investigation by the Detroit Police Department.
