Even though you may believe Chelsea Football Club is spending was just unjustifiable, it continues. It seems that The Blues intend to sign not one, but two new central midfielders.

According to Sky Sports News, Chelsea Football Club is reportedly interested in both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

According to the broadcaster, Chelsea FootBall Club is looking to sign two central midfielders during the current transfer window and is specifically interested in the players from Brighton and Southampton.

The bad news for Liverpool supporters is that both players have been heavily linked to a move to Anfield.

Following the signing of Caicedo by Liverpool and Brighton, it was evident that Chelsea FootBall Club was trying to reenter the fray by making an offer for the Ecuadorian that included new players and cash.

Next to that, Chelsea Football Club and Southampton discussed the signing of Romeo Lavia.

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea Football Club approach this and what it means for Liverpool’s moves for both Caicedo and Lavia given that Sky Sports News has reported that The Blues want both players.

Regarding Lavia, rumors suggest that the athlete would prefer a transfer to Anfield over Stamford Bridge.

Nobody is certain how this transfer saga will turn out. However, it makes for fascinating viewing thus far, despite the fact that Liverpool fans are undoubtedly anxious to learn the outcome.
