After being found guilty of first-degree murder and house invasion in the killing of his estranged wife in western Illinois, a former Family Feud contestant was given a life sentence.

According to court documents, Timothy Bliefnick, the former Family Feud contestant, 39, was given three consecutive life terms on Friday during a hearing in Adams County Circuit Court in Quincy.
In a recently published report from NECN, according to NBC affiliate WGEM, Adams County Judge Robert Adrian said: “You researched this murder, you planned this murder, you practiced this murder, you broke into her house and you shot her. She was lying on the ground when several of those bullets were fired. And all of that was done while your kids were sleeping soundly upstairs in your home.”
After Rebecca Bliefnick, 41, forgot to pick up her children from school, a family member discovered her shot-up body inside her Quincy home. On March 13, Timothy Bliefnick, the former Family Feud contestant, was detained. On March 1, officers raided his Quincy house. The couple was divorcing each other and had split.

The former Family Feud contestant Timothy Bliefnick and a few of his relatives appeared on ABC’s “Family Feud” in 2020.
In a published article from The New York Post, Bliefnick, the former Family Feud contestant was asked, “What was the biggest error that you created at your wedding?” by host Steve Harvey, to which he responded, “I do.” He then said, “Not mine to say, not mine to say. I love my wife.” Bliefnick also said, “I’m heading to get in difficulties for that, aren’t.
Twenty of the 100 respondents that were questioned agreed with the response of Bliefnick, the former Family Feud contestant, placing it second on the board. With 30 responses, getting “sloshed” came in first.
