Others feel that Sacramento is just dangerous enough to make them want to move away from the city and live in a more secure environment. This article examines three risky areas of Sacramento, which are typically regarded as being much safer.

  • several music venues

You have a 1 in 9 chance of becoming a victim of crime in Midtown Sacramento, where the crime rate is 382% higher than the national average. Due to the high percentage of residents in Midtown who are without a place to call home, property crime is particularly common there. That’s why it was considered one of the most dangerous places in Sacramento to live in.
