Experts have continued to warn citizens to be aware and improve their health status as cases of obesity and heart disease in US continue to rise, according to the research of Mens Journal.

According to Dr. Lena Lönnberg, most patients facing obesity and heart disease in US are those between ages 40 and 50. This adults has tendencies of having extra body fat in their abdominal area leading to additional cases of obesity and heart disease in the United States.

She then warned people of the rising cases of metabolic syndrome that ripples affect over time thus common indications are obesity and heart disease symptoms.

“This is a huge missed opportunity to intervene before heart attacks and that could have been avoided occur,” the expert said regarding cases of obesity and heart disease in US.

Other than that, the expert then stressed that physical activity is an alternative solution to preventing obesity and heart disease rather than experiencing symptoms of metabolic syndrome.
