A Choice to Make: Biden Decide for a Top Aide

A top aide to both Vice President Kamala Harris and Her husband Doug Emhoff, who will represent United States to Unesco, is a choice to make by President Joe Biden.

A choice to Make by the president

After five years of interruption, the United States will formally join again on the U.N Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It was initiated by President Biden after his forerunner in the White House, Donald Trump made a choice for the president.

According to the White House official, Courtney O’Donnell has been chosen by the president as the U.S. Permanent Representative to the Paris-based Unesco as the rank of Ambassador. It is a condition of unsigned to discuss the nomination which follows a formal announcement. It is a choice to make.

In a report by Politico, when Biden has a choice to make, she considers O’Donnell. O’Donnel has two positions: An interim chief of staff for Emhoff and senior adviser to Harris. She shares her expertise on some national and international concerns including gender equity and combating anti-Semitism which is the primary concern of Emhoff who is Jewish.

During the reign of Barack Obama, O’Donnel served as the communications director of Jill Biden when she was the second lady during Joe Biden’s vice presidency. She helped Jill Biden raise awareness and promote community colleges and military families. With her previous work, Biden has really a choice to make.

O’Donnell is much like an achiever. She gives her significant expertise in developing global partnerships, public affairs, and strategic communications and she held senior roles in two presidential administrators, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, national political campaigns, and the private sector which helped Biden to have a choice to make.

O’Donnell also supervised a global partnership at AirBnb. Also, O’Donnel was praised by the former White House Chief of staff, Ron Klain. According to his statement, it is a choice to make and a good choice for a fantastic job at UNESCO.

Another colleague of O’Donnel, Cathy Russel, described her to be an expert in developing international partnerships, creating social impact campaigns, and giving strategic advice on hot issues. For them, it is really a choice to make.

Another statement from Russell is that O’Donnell is a committed worker who sees the value of international engagement which is a choice to make to strengthen American leadership around the world.

The Senate will have a choice to make whether to confirm O’Donnell’s nomination.
