This budget marks a substantial increase in property tax revenue, generating approximately $629,495 more than the previous year, marking a 6.7 percent rise. This boost is partially due to $210,319 in revenue from newly added properties to the tax roll. In addition to the budget, the Brenham City Council will also determine the property tax rate for the upcoming year.
