Ambler Savings Bank Contributes to the Over $10,000

The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry has noticed a significant increase in the number of clients struggling to put food on the table due to inflation and the severe reduction in Supplemental Nutritional Benefits (SNAP) earlier this year.

Thanks to assistance from Ambler Savings Bank, they started a summer donation campaign to keep up with demand. $10,420 was raised overall after donations were matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000.

Over 1,000 folks in the Collegeville region receive nourishing food each month through Daily Bread with the Ambler Savings Bank. Their goal has been to end hunger since 1997 through distributing food, highlighting the importance of nutrition, boosting self-sufficiency, and inspiring optimism.
