Police Officers Take a Picture While Arresting Fugitive Danelo Cavalcante

An escaped prisoner was arrested on Wednesday Morning. Danelo Cavalcante is proud to surrender himself to custody.

In a report by People, on Wednesday morning, Danelo was arrested by the authorities and he was proudly showing him in custody despite the fact that escaped the jail for 2 weeks. The Video shot by FOX 29, shows that the police officers who are involved in arresting him take a picture, a group photo with the suspect.

Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens told the reporters on Wednesday during the press conference that it is not an issue that the police officers take a photo with Cavalcante. He appreciated the team because they worked hard to capture the suspect and he was not bothered by them that they take a picture with Cavalcante. Bivens added that he is proud of them and their work because they keep the community in order and safe. He is proud of their job.

Cavalcante, who looks to be sporting a green Philadelphia Eagles hoodie and dark jeans, is flanked by the policemen, who are wearing camouflage tactical gear, and two police dogs in the footage. You can see on the video that they take a picture as they have the operations.

The Suspect that take a picture with the Police Officers

Cavalcante was convicted at the age of 34 after killing his girlfriend in July and he is wanted in his native Brazil.

According to Bivens Cavalcante realizes that he is surrounded and tries to crawl into the thick bushes but he is bitten and subdued by the police dog. Before the capture, the residents reported that Cavalcante stole a riffle and was considered armed.

In a report published by CNN, at another press conference, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said that the fugitive was not harmed by being fired. Before the incident of stealing, Cavalcante was considered dangerous and residents were advised to lock all doors. After being in custody on Wednesday, Bivens said that Cavalcante would be transferred to a state correctional facility. Despite the police officers who take a picture with him in group they are still proud.
