Kent County won the Michigan Lottery winnings amounting $4 million.

Michigan Lottery reported that Kent County used his Michigan Lottery winnings to buy another ticket that won him a much bigger price.

In a report by Detroit Free Press, according to Michigan Lottery a 54-year-old man, who chose to remain anonymous, won in an instant game worth $50. He was planning to buy another ticket for that amount using his Michigan Lottery winnings. However, the store was out of $50 tickets so he settled on a $30, Millionaire’s Club Instant Ticket. Then the man scratched the ticket and revealed to have won a $4 million prize as his Michigan Lottery Winnings.

In an interview by the Michigan Lottery, that when the man scratched the ticket and found out that he won $4 million as her Michigan Lottery winnings, he immediately called his brother and told him about the ticket. His brother advised him to check whether he had a real ticket or maybe one of those prank tickets. So, he flipped it over and read the print on the back. Then, he confirmed that it was not a prank, that he won a Michigan Lottery winnings. So, he called the Michigan Lottery and confirmed the prize as well.

Unexpected Michigan Lottery Winnings

In another report published by USA Today, The man purchased his tickets at Citgo gas station located at 3895 Plainfield Ave. NE in Grand Rapids. He claimed his Michigan Lottery Winnings and will also receive a one-time lump sum payment of about of about $2.7 million instead of 30 annuity payments for the full amount.
