With looting arrests happening in Philadelphia last week, the Philadelphia Police Commissioner is also taking measures to not tolerate such behaviors.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner’s Actions Towards The Crime Spree

72 people have been arrested by the Philadelphia Police Commissioner. The Philadelphia Police Commissioner charged the arrested individuals due to the crime spree that happened last week in Philadelphia.

According to the records of the Philadelphia Police Commissioner, the majority of those arrested were charged with felony burglary, felony conspiracy, and criminal mischief. Firearms were also recovered, including one possessed by a juvenile by the Philadelphia Police Commissioner.

The Philadelphia Police Commissioner and district attorney’s office are reviewing video evidence and affidavits, with the expectation of more arrests and charges to come. The Philadelphia Police Commissioner expressed that such criminal behavior will not be tolerated and they are committed to ensuring the safety of businesses and the community.

According to a published article by FOX News, through the records of the Philadelphia Police Commissioner, it is known that the crime spree began after charges were dismissed against a former police officer involved in a fatal shooting, and video footage showed people looting an Apple Store and stealing electronic devices.
