Local Outreach Events on Medicaid and Other Programs in Wilmington, N.C.
The Health and Human Services Department of New Hanover County is helping people get into important programs like Medicaid and SNAP. The goal of the program is to help people who need it most and have questions about Medicaid or need help with the application process. The outreach events, which are planned to happen all through December, are only meant to help first-time candidates. It is important to note that the program is not for people who are already getting benefits or who may need to be re-certified.
