Russia Urges U.S. Congress and German Parliament to Address Belgorod Plane Crash, Alleges Involvement of ‘Nurtured Nazi Regime’

Meduza recently reported about Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin directing lawmakers to draft a statement to the U.S. Congress and Germany’s parliament regarding the recent crash of an Il-76 military transport aircraft in the Belgorod region. Accusing the involved nations of supporting a “Nazi regime,” Volodin called for recognition of responsibility and the impeachment of relevant politicians, including Biden, Macron, and Scholz, during a plenary session.

Accusations of Support for ‘Nazi Regime’

The Speaker urged lawmakers to highlight the connection between their financial aid and the actions of the said regime, emphasizing the need for accountability.

Volodin’s remarks implicated Biden, Macron, and Scholz, stating that they must acknowledge their role in supporting a regime that Russia believes contributed to the plane crash.

The call for impeachment adds a diplomatic dimension, urging lawmakers to take action against the politicians allegedly associated with the regime.
