An innovative guaranteed basic income California initiative in the Inland Empire is helping low-income Americans. The $10 million trial venture, administered by Inland SoCal United Way, offers no-strings cash payments of up to $750 each month for 18 months.

Offers $600 Monthly to Pregnant Moms and $750 to Former Foster Youth
Two groups are targeted by the program. First, 500 pregnant mothers in their first six months will get $600 monthly payments.
Additionally, 120 former foster youngsters will receive $750 monthly. Notably, beneficiaries can use the money any way they want, providing flexibility and support where it’s needed.
The effort attempts to improve Riverside County children’s and families’ lives. Zachary Ginder, Chair of the First 5 Riverside County Commission, stressed the importance of prenatal support for a child’s health and achievement.

Guaranteed Basic Income California’s 2 Criteria
To qualify for this guaranteed basic income California financial aid you should be:
- 18 years old or older
- Have a household income below $90,916
San Bernardino and Riverside County residents eagerly await the pilot program.
A Guaranteed Income (GI) partner agency must refer eligible residents to the program. The GI program team accepts referrals at 951-289-3328.
