Detroit Apartment Chaos
Two young girls jumped from the fifth floor of a Detroit apartment building to escape a fire allegedly caused by their mother’s ex-boyfriend. Security footage captured neighbors standing with a mattress on the sidewalk of the Detroit apartment, catching one of the girls as she jumped successfully.

The mother of the two young girls who jumped off the Detroit apartment was rescued by firefighters. The suspect, Marion Scruggs, was captured on security cameras setting the Detroit apartment on fire.
According to a published article by Fox News, the suspect who caused the fire at the Detroit apartment has a history of domestic violence and was previously charged with arson. Marion Scruggs is currently in custody for his criminal charges.
The identities of the neighbors who helped the girls jump off the Detroit apartment are being sought to recognize their heroic actions.
