According to a published article by Fox News, back in June, a car bomb targeted law enforcement in Celaya, resulting in the death of a National Guard officer.
The Santa Rosa de Lima cartel, engaged in a violent rivalry with the Jalisco cartel for control of Guanajuato, was held responsible for the attack.
