The education budget will be increasing for the next 400 years as Wisconsin governor made an ingenious alteration on the state’s budgeting bill.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers used his veto power to increase the education budget by slightly altering the state budgeting bill for the next 400 years. His cunning move resulted to the annual increases of education budget for public schools for a prolonged time.

Governor Evers did a little alteration legally to a state budgeting bill that would ensure an improved education budget for public school funding. He used his veto for increasing the education budget for the next 400 years by subtly changing the education budget increase from “2023-24 and 24-25 school year” to “2023-2425” through removing a hyphen “-” and a “20”, and the changing some words and digits.
Though the Governor’s veto authority was used for a good cause like the increase of the education budget and other more, it still met contradictions from other State Republicans. They spent efforts to block Evers’ veto, to no avail.
The education budget will not increase immediate by gradually. It is yet to see if the increase for education budget is a good thing or a burden on the citizens’ tax.
