China is on High Alert after the repeated unsafe intercepts of U.S military planes flying crossing the international airspace in the Pacific. It is according by Gen. Kenneth S. Wilsbach, the commander of Pacific Air Forces.
China on High Alert
In a report by Newsmax, He also added that China has the right to seize aircraft flying inside the area or air identification zones. He also requested to do it professionally. With that China will not be on high alert. He also added that the U.S. aircraft fly close to the zones of China and it is not common for the U.S. military planes to just be intercepted 10 times in a day. He also said that the intercepts are safe but there are some that it is said to be dangerous.
Meanwhile, the U.S. and its allies introduced more risky occurrences, China is not willing to have a discussion according to Wilsbach. China is on high alert because, in the South China Sea, U.S. surveillance planes are flying into its territory, and blames the U.S. on the intercepts. That is why, China is always on high alert.
Wilsbach said that NORAD planes frequently intercept Russian jets in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), which extends outside of American airspace, and that this is not a problem for the United States.

Still, the United States Military is concerned on the action of the Chinese military actions because of a lack of high-level communication as the channels have been frozen since last November the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin met his then-Chinese counterpart.
According to the report of WGMD, tensions are all over since China is on high alert since the meeting such as Chinese jets coming within a few yards from the U.S Air Force RC-135 over the South China Sea in December. Also in February, an F-22 Raptor shot down a Chinese surveillance balloon when it crossed the continental United States. The tensions grew higher.
However, observers point out that it is challenging to assess China’s objectives due to the opaqueness of the Chinese Communist Party and the nation’s military under leader Xi Jinping.
However, China claimed that American sanctions were preventing Austin and Li Shangfu from meeting. However, the Chinese Defense Ministry claims that direct military-to-military communication has not ceased.
