Logan Correctional Center Prisoner’s Case
An Illinois federal jury has awarded over $19 million to a woman In Logan Correctional Center, known as Jane Doe. The woman from Logan Correctional Center who accused her counselor of raping and assaulting her for seven months.
All this happened while she was serving a prison sentence at Logan Correctional Center. The jury awarded Doe, the woman from Logan Correctional Center, $8 million in compensatory damages. The woman from Logan Correctional Center also received $11.3 million in punitive damages against the prison counselor, the head prison investigator, and the warden.
The verdict is considered to be a significant result for the woman from Logan Correctional Center and may lead to changes in how prisons handle reports of abuse and assault all thanks to the sex abuse case of the woman from Logan Correctional Center.
According to a published article by Law 360, the defendants declined to comment.
Child Sex Abuse Case Of A Teacher
In a published article by NewsTimes, the hearing of the former teacher Kenneth Gardner, who was recently convicted of child abuse, has been postponed. The hearing will now take place during Gardner’s sentencing in November. The sentencing for Gardner is scheduled for November 21. Gardner denies all the allegations brought against him.
