A white woman from Florida has been arrested by the police and is now facing criminal charges after shooting her Black neighbor.
White Woman Shot Her Black Neighbor and Proceeded to Harass The Victim’s Children
58-year-old Susan Lorincz is now charged with armed manslaughter, two counts of assault, culpable negligence, and battery, according to Sheriff Billy Woods of Marion County. Lorincz admitted that she called the children of the Black neighbor she shot some racial slurs. A child of the victim stated that Lorincz kept on harassing them and giving them the middle finger. When Lorincz appeared in court, she wore a protective vest. The victim was identified as Ajike Owens.
Last Friday, a $150,000 bond for Lorincz was set by a judge for the charge of manslaughter and an additional $1,000 for each additional charge. Lorincz’s bond is now set for $154,000 in total.

What Happens Now to Owens’ Children?
Pamela Dias, the mother of Owens, came forward and stepped up for her grandchildren, saying that she will now take them in under her care. Dias revealed that Owens’ son expressed that he was guilty about not being able to do anything to prevent his mother’s death.
Those who mourned Owens and those who offered support to Owens’ family gathered outside the Ocala church last Thursday evening for a vigil. Owens’ funeral is set for Monday.
