In March 1997, a former New York prison officer was detained in connection with the ex-wife’s murder. Rafael Ramos, 54-years-old is a primary suspect in the death of his ex-wife Nusinaida Ramos.
According to Miriam Rocah, Westchester County District Attorney, that the suspect was battered and choked with a t-shirt, the reason behind her death. According to the report, early in 2000’s police officers discovered her bloodied body in the living room of her Yonkers, New York, home, just a few miles north of the Bronx. According to Nusinaida’s sister-in-law, Eva Beauchamps that the suspect was very angry with her because she wants to have a child support and want to leave and move to Florida. She added that Ramos didn’t show any motive in killing her.
He sister-in-law was so smart, beautiful and caring she even said, that it’s been a long time but she is still grieving for her death.
After 26 Long Years 1997 New York Prime Suspect In A Cold Case Murder Finally Arrested
On Thursday Miriam Rocah, Westchester County District Attorney, the sentencing and indictment of the killer, and she also said that the arrest of the killer would give the family their justice after 26 long years of waiting. The case was resolved and Yonkers Police Cold Case detectives worked on both investigations, and Yonkers Police Commissioner Christopher Sapienza praised their efforts of those people behind the success of the case. The family said that words cannot express how thankful they are for giving justice to their beloved.
