Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s Apology
Following the revelation that they sent letters of support for Danny Masterson to the judge presiding over the sexual assault trial, “That ’70s Show” stars Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher apologized publicly on social media.
Alongside Masterson, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who have been wed since 2015, were in the popular sitcom series from 1998 to 2006. The two made an appearance together in a social media post on Saturday and expressed regret for making comments that appeared to hurt Masterson’s victims.
Masterson was given a 30- to life term by a judge in Los Angeles on Thursday for raping two women in 2003.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher expressed regret for whatever hurt the letters, which were made public on Friday, may have caused in a video on Instagram.
The letters pleading for mercy, according to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, “were intended for the judge to read and not to undercut the testimony of the victims or retraumatize them in any way. We apologize if that has happened because we would never wish to do that.
In his letter dated July 27, 2023, Masterson said that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had portrayed him as a man who treated people “with decency, equality, and generosity”. Their letters did not intend to cast doubt on the victims’ testimonies, as shown in the apologetic video.
